Cade is almost 1 month old! What a fast wonderful month it has been. Life for us has not been as difficult or as big of a change as I had actually anticipated.

He sleeps fairly well. He usually wakes up about every 3 hours to eat and eats for about an hour at a time. Nursing has been much more difficult that I expected, but it is finally getting better.

He is so alert and fun right now. He is awake much more during the day than he initially was. He often has one long nap during the day now and a few short ones, and is awake the majority of the rest of the day. I am dreading leaving him to go back to work. |

He LOVES riding in the car and usually falls asleep as soon as we get going.

All in all, life with a newborn has been pretty amazing so far! BUT I am ready to sleep through a full night again one day. :)
